Our CQV team recently successfully completed a summer mapping project for a customer. This involved placing data loggers in strategically relevant areas of the storage room and continuously recording values over several days under real operating conditions. A product simulation at the hot or cold spot is used to simulate the influence of the packaging.
In the subsequent analysis, temperature distributions, fluctuations and critical areas due to weather-dependent influences are precisely identified. This is particularly relevant in the warm and cold seasons, as the cold and hot spots are determined during these periods, which are decisive for the temperature design, its alarming and thus for the quality of temperature-sensitive products. By optimizing storage, potential risks from the effects of heat can be minimized, thus meeting regulatory requirements and ensuring GMP compliance.
